6010 Medical Gas Installer
The purpose of the ASSE 6010 standard is to provide minimum performance criteria, identified by an industry consensus, for Medical Gas Systems Installers, to assure compliance with the referenced standards on Section 10-1.4 of the ASSE Series 6000 – American Society of Sanitary Engineers.
This web based training program. composed and narrated by Roland W. Lamer, an ASSE 6050 Medical Gas Systems instructor, provides a source of training and instruction compliant with ASSE 6010-3.2.1, 3.2.2, and 3.2.3.
Completion of this training program will satisfy those instruction requirements necessary to gain access to the computer based examination administered by National Inspections Testing and Certifications. The successful completion of that examination as well as the practical examination of brazed coupons will earn the ASSE 6010 Credential for Medical Gas Systems Installers.
The following minimum prerequisite qualifications must be met in order to participate in this training program.
“The candidate shall have a minimum of four (4) years of documented practical experience in the field of installation of plumbing or mechanical piping systems.”
